2.Submission Of Application Forms

Application forms complete in all respects along with Demand Draft of Rs. 600/‐ in favour of Registrar, SUPVA, Rohtak payable at Rohtak for General Category Candidates and of Rs. 150/‐ for Girls and Candidates of Reserve Category should be sent at State Institute of Fine Arts, Integrated Campus, Sector‐6, Rohtak‐124001, Haryana, India.

Forms received after the last date will not be accepted. The Institute does not take any responsibility for delay or loss of form in postal transit or by courier.

3. Eligibility

10+2 examination passed or appearing under recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi, the minimum 10+2 aggregate percentage should be 50% or more.

or3 years Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education (minimum 50% marks) .

4. Entrance Examination Process

(a) Written Test : The Eligible candidates will have to appear for a written test which will be conducted at New Delhi , Chandigarh and Rohtak. This examination evaluates a candidate's aptitude based on General Knowledge, Art & Culture, Artistic Skills, Analytical Skills, Current Affairs, Logic/Reasioning ability, Communication Skills, and Vocabulary.

(b) Skill Test : The short listed candidates from the written examination (In ratio of 1 seat to 4 candidates) are required to undergo a Skill Test at Rohtak. Through this test, the skills of material handling and innovative ability of the candidates will be evaluated. The students will be required to demonstrate skill and observation power on a given situation with given set of materials.

Object Drawing (1.30 hrs) : Drawing of two to three objects with light & shade in pencil or Charcoal on half imperial size paper. Composition (1.30hrs) : Composition from memory on a given subject in Water, Poster, or Pastel Colours on half Imperial size paper.

Note:- All Candidate appearing for the Skill Test have to bring their own art material like Drawing Board, Pastel Colours, Water Colors, Pencils Colours, Dry Pastels etc. (Only Drawing Sheets will be provided by the University )

Important :- Electronic devices such as Calculators, Mobile Phone etc. will not be allowed inside the Examination Hall

5. Merit Criteria

Selection of a candidate will be based on the combined merit of performance, as per following criteria:

Qualifying Exam (30% Weightage)
Written Examination (30% Weightage)
Skill Test (40% Weightage)

6. Allotment of specialisation/ seat is based on Final merit. The candidates shall be offered the seat as per order of merit and availability.
